NEEDLES AT THE READY!
At Sknitch 2010 there were fantastic demonstrations and opportunities to learn techniques to help you make your wardrobe unique, whether sewing on some extra funky buttons or shortening the hem of that old dress sitting in your wardrobe -  there was something for everyone to try out and take home.

Highlights included:

• Learning to knit for FREE in Sknitch & Bitch in association with the UK Hand Knitting Association
• Taking part in The Sknitch Experience hosted by ClothKits
• Learning to customise with Oxfam DIY
• Meeting leading brands offering all the materials, machines and kits you need to get Sknitching

And there was plenty of shopping to enjoy, with visitors browsing through buttons, fabrics, ribbons and wools plus the latest sewing technology. There were big brands to small customisation boutiques, fabrics and patterns designed by students from leading colleges and universities, and the works of industry experts.
