In December the highlight of the Christmas season lightened the lives of many fashion mogals as Clothes Show Live had it’s 24th event at Birmingham NEC. Over 120,000 people attended the five day event to shop from over 500 fashion and beauty brands ranging from high-end designer and vintage to independent and high-street labels.
Visitors were treated to appearances from Daisy Lowe, Grace Woodward, JLS, Peter Andre, Amy Childs, Gemma Collins and Sam Faiers as well as Zara Martin, Jamie Laing, Louise Thompson, Spencer Mathews and many more.
Inspiring fashion content was provided by designers Mark Fast, John Rocha, Henry Holland, Bora Aksu and industry experts including Caryn Franklin, VV Brown and a host of bloggers sharing trends, advice and career tips.
Daisy Lowe said of the 2012 show: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience as ambassador of Clothes Show Live this year. The involvement of designers such as Henry Holland, Mark Fast, Bora Aksu, John Rocha and many others further establishes the show’s fashion credibility – this year more than ever the show is about much more than just entertainment.”
Henry Holland- “Hosting in the Suzuki Fashion Theatre with Grace Woodward has been an absolute blast – the energy from the models, dancers and indeed the crowd is unlike any other show I’ve even been to. Over 40 models and dancers put on a real show in front of an audience of nearly 6,000 and this year it’s been the most spectacular to date.”
Plans are well underway for Clothes Show lives’ 25th Birthday which will take place on the 6 – 10th December 2013. Tickets will be available to buy from mid summer so dig out your birthday hat and get ready for milestone event.
