This Christmas La Senza is delighted to present their latest collection of gorgeous lingerie, luxury sleepwear and charming accessories. 

As well as drawing on Autumn/Winter catwalk trends such as Hard Edge, Studio 54 and North American Pioneer, La Senza have been inspired by the iconic style of Marilyn Monroe, as seen in the upcoming Hollywood film, My Week With Marilyn.

With one of the most celebrated bodies of this century, Marilyn Monroe oozes Hollywood glamour and sex appeal. La Senza have fused her elegance and shapely 50’s style to create looks which are comfortable and flattering for every figure. 

The vintage colour palette of powdery grey, soft silver and sepia nudes reflects the soft focus of classic cinema. Retro detailing, such as wider straps, high waisted suspender briefs and longline bras distinguish the Marilyn Monroe collection. Dramatic black on black and nude elements characterise the Hard Edge look, with corset detailing creating elegant structure, juxtaposing translucent mesh and solid panels adding a sultry air. Each item is adaptable and can be worn as underwear or outerwear, particularly the paneled Corset Dress and Front-Fasten Longline Bra, which are both striking statement pieces. 

The 1970s trend continues to be a strong style influence and La Senza have created a range infused with the glamour of Studio 54. Bursting with rich jewel colours, strong prints and opulent fabrics, this eye-catching range is the perfect seasonal update.

Satin is a key fabric that drapes elegantly, skimming curves and flattering the figure. The Studio 54 glamorous nightwear range utilises ink blue satin in its range of traditional pyjamas, teddies and babydolls. Deep red satin is offset with vintage gold lace on short and cami sets, chemises and babydolls, and the romantic Winter Bloom print can be found on satin palazzo pyjama trousers, sheer chemises and delicate lingerie sets. 

The Studio 54 collection also has fun with prints, with a range of bras and briefs designed to be mixed and matched, including clashing orange and fuchsia oversized polka-dots, neon-accented animal print, and bright blue and white star-patterned lingerie.
