New Hollyoaks Band - Daytona Lights!

Hollyoaks have been hiding a big secret...but they have just EXCLUSIVELY revealed that their new characters Sam, Dan, Louis, Laurence & Matt are not fictional characters. Yep, that's right, they've been planted amongst the Hollyoaks cast as...THEMSELVES!

Want to get to know the Daytona Lights a little bit better?

The five lads have been drafted into the show because together they make up a super-cool shoe-string Pop band from Shoreditch, called the Daytona Lights. Hollyoaks has it's ear to the ground when it comes to fresh, new talent in the music industry. So you've actually been watching the band tipped to be the next big thing in music, and you never even knew it.

Dan Lawrence

The lead vocalist of the Dayton Lights has already shown off his singing skills on the show. We saw him and Sam take to the stage at the SU bar's open mic night. He also plays the acoustic guitar.

Matt Gill

Matt plays the guitar and the trombone in Daytona Lights. But you might recognise him as the SU bar's newest recruit, he's the doorman who nearly draged Bart out for underage drinking.

Laurence Saywood

The bassist of the band came onto our screens earlier this month in an ice-cream van, would you believe it? Nothing says rock and roll like a good old Mr Whippy.

Sam Fordham

Sam is the drummer of the band who stormed the SU bar's Open Mic night with Dan, even though he did manage to ruffle Riley's feathers first. Now he's got into a romance with Michaela on the show, the fiesty McQueen doesn't hang about.

Louis Souyave

Lead guitarist Louis came onto the show with Laurence. He quickly became Duncan's love rival...even if it was only in Duncan's mind.
