YOUNG HANDBAG DESIGNER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2011 (15-18 YRS)

Clothes Show Live was on the search for budding designers to submit their ideas for the perfect clutch bag for the party season.  

The 2011 winner was: Alexandra Ligethy, 17, from London (right with Karl Willett)

Alexandra was presented her award by Karl Willett, the stylist of the Clothes Show Live Suzuki Fashion Theatre. Karl said: “I am a really big fan of young designers who demonstrate great passion for their work and Alexandra’s entry really stood out. The standard of entries was exceptional but Alexandra’s was a cut above the rest.” Alexandra has won £1,000 for her schools art department, £1,000 to put towards an art course and tickets to next year’s Clothes Show Live.
