Contestants designed a garment with knitted swatch, embracing dramatic knitting techniques whilst at the same time made it easy and desirable to wear

Congratulations to our Young Knitter Hannah Sayers, 16, from Norwich, Norfolk (right)

Hannah said: “It was easy to come up with a design but more difficult to make it as I hadn’t knitted anything so detailed before. I am really happy to have won this award and it was totally unexpected.” Hannah has won the opportunity to have her work published in Rowan publications including The Knitter and Simply Knitting and free tickets to Clothes Show Live 2012.
